Q: I have never done Pilates before, can I attend?

A: Yes! You'll be taught exactly how to do the exercises, so this is the right place for you to be!

 

Q: What should I bring?

A: You don’t need to bring anything with you. The studio has everything you need.

 

Q: What should I wear?

A: Comfortable exercise clothes for ease of movement. You will also need to wear socks inside the studio.

 

Q: How often should I attend Pilates?

A: At least once a week is recommended.

 

Q: I don't see a timetable on the website. When are the classes? 

A: Since all the sessions are for individuals or small groups, suitable times are organised between clients and the instructor.

 

Q: How do I book a session? 

A: You can fill out an online enquiry form on the Contact page and suggest the 2 best days and times that would suit you. Alison will then contact you to set up your first session.

 

Q: How and when do I pay?

A: Payment is due before your session/s. You can pay via bank transfer or cash.

Bank details will be on your emailed invoice.

 

Q: Do I need to let you know if I can’t make it to my session?

A: Absolutely! There is a strict 12 hour cancellation policy that needs to be adhered to for the smooth running of the studio.

 

Q: Can I attend if I have a chronic injury? 

A: It’s best to contact Alison with some details of your injury and we can assess it from there. This can be done using the online enquiry form on the Contact page.

 

Q: Can I attend if I have recently had a baby?

A: Yes! This is the perfect place to re-awaken your core muscles after childbirth. You will need to obtain a clearance letter from your lead maternity carer and you should be ready to start 6–8 weeks after giving birth. Babies who are not yet crawling are welcome to attend the sessions.
